Step 1 — Preparation
Design :
The first step in sock production is designing. Designs dictate the colors, patterns, and sizes of socks, but not all designs are feasible due to the limitations of current technology. We assist customers in modifying their designs to ensure that they can be transformed into real socks. The perfect design can streamline production and enhance convenience.
Material Understanding :
It's essential to understand the materials used in sock production. By doing so, we can ensure that the final product is durable, comfortable, and of high quality.
Code Conversion:
The sock knitting machine cannot directly read the design provided by the customer. We use a professional code to convert each pixel of the design into a needle on the machine. Different machines have varying numbers of needles, and we ensure that the code matches the machine to prevent production errors.
Raw Materials Preparation :
We select yarn materials, such as veil, polyester, and chemical fiber, based on customer requirements and design drawings. If necessary, we dye the yarn to match the desired color scheme. Raw materials significantly impact the quality and cost of the final product. Therefore, we work closely with our customers to select the appropriate yarn materials that meet their needs.
Step 2 — Knitting Process
Yarn and Code preparation :
In the first step, we prepare the yarns and create the machine code. To produce the socks, our factory needs to weave yarns of each color in a specific order, which can be a tedious task. However, with the help of weaving sock machines, this process is made easier, and we can ensure that the socks are made accurately.
Prototype Production :
With the help of the weaving sock machine, we have a prototype of the socks. However, we still have some work to do, such as checking the sock's thread quality, trimming any excess thread, and making color corrections to ensure that the final product meets our quality standards.
Step 3 — Post Processing
Sock Production :
We produce socks using hosiery machines, which produce cylindrical tubes that are not yet finished products. To complete the production process, we need to connect the toes using a sewing machine. This step is crucial to ensuring the socks are comfortable and durable. Our workers inspect each sock during the sewing process to identify and remove any defects.
Additional Treatment :
Customers can add more crafts to enhance the appearance and functionality of their socks. At our sock company, we offer a range of additional treatments, including: Adding slip-resistant glue to the bottom of the socks and sewing foot mats to provide additional cushioning and comfort. Or any other request upon discussion.
Step 4 — Boarding
Sock Styling :
Keeping Socks in Shape for Easy Pairing and Packaging After the sock production process, we use a styling process to ensure that the socks maintain their shape and are easier to pair and package. During sock styling, the socks are fixed onto a template and subjected to specific pressure, temperature, and humidity conditions. This process makes the socks more flexible, allowing them to conform to the template and maintain a flat, uniform shape.
Comfort and Durability :
By keeping the socks flat and uniform in shape, styling makes it easier for our workers to pair and package the socks, ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently. Step 5 — Labeling and Packaging
Label Production :
Based on our extensive experience in the sock industry, we can produce custom labels at the same time as the socks are being manufactured, saving you time and hassle. We have established partnerships with reliable printers, ensuring that you receive high-quality labels that meet your specifications.
Label options :
Alternatively, if you have your own printing company, we can produce the labels according to your requirements and affix them to the socks during the packaging process.
Packaging :
Our packaging process includes matching the socks and affixing the custom labels to each pair. This process also allows for a final quality inspection of the socks to ensure that they meet our high standards of comfort and durability.
